How We Work
The terms that apply to every DigiSolly project, in plain language. Your Statement of Work links here, and these terms form part of it.
Anything specific to your project, the price, what you get, and your dates, is on your Statement of Work. Where your SOW says something different from this page, your SOW wins.
Payment
Every project is split into two payments: half before work starts, and the balance when the work is done. There is no fixed date to plan around. When your work is finished, we tell you and show you, you pay the balance, and we hand it over and switch it on the same day. The balance is due no later than 21 days after your first payment, and finished work is handed over only once it is paid. The amounts are on your Statement of Work, and where your SOW says otherwise, your SOW wins.
Invoice links expire after 7 days. If yours has expired, message us and we will send a fresh one.
Seeing the work before you pay the balance
A lot of what we do is not visible on the first day. Claiming and correcting your listings, writing your content, and setting up the parts that AI tools read all happen before anything looks different on screen.
So we do not wait for you to ask. Before we send your final invoice, we send you a progress statement: every item we have finished, and what each one costs at our standard prices. You see what you have received before you are asked for the balance.
You can also ask for that statement at any point in the project, and we will send it the same day.
If you want to stop partway
You can stop at any time. We will not hold you to a project you no longer want.
What happens to the money is simple, and we show you the arithmetic. Every item already finished is counted at our standard price, the same price any other client pays for that item. We add up what has been done and compare it against what you have paid.
If you have paid more than the finished work is worth, we refund you the difference. If the finished work is worth more than you have paid, we do not ask you for more. We stop there, you keep everything that is finished, and we hand over the logins.
We send you that list before anything is decided, so you can check it for yourself.
Exchange rate
If you are paying in Jamaican dollars, the J$ figure on your SOW is locked at the rate on the day that document was sent. That number does not change if the rate moves before you pay.
What you own
Once your balance is paid in full, you own the finished work. You own your domain name, your hosting account, your social media pages, and every asset we create for you. We do not hold any of it. We hand over login details and remove our access at the end of the project.
Our proposals, findings and plans are prepared for the named client only, and stay DigiSolly’s until your deposit clears.
Removing our access
At the end of the project we walk you through removing DigiSolly from your accounts. For WordPress sites we delete our admin user. For Google and Meta accounts we remove our linked access.
If you ever want to remove us earlier, you can do it yourself at any time: Settings, then Users or Partners, then remove DigiSolly.
Revisions and change requests
Revisions within the agreed scope are included. A change request is anything that adds to, removes from, or changes the direction of the original deliverables. Change requests are quoted separately before any work begins on them.
If either side goes quiet
If we cannot reach you for 14 days after a deadline listed in your SOW, we pause your project. Your deposit is held, and the project restarts from the beginning of the paused stage once contact is made.
If DigiSolly goes quiet for the same period, you may request a refund of any amount paid for work not yet started.
No guarantee of customers
We build the digital infrastructure: the website, the content, the SEO, the visibility. We cannot guarantee that any specific number of customers will find you or buy from you. Results depend on your market, your pricing, your service, and time.
Questions about any of this?
Ask before you sign, not after. We answer every day.
